You're walking right down the middle of Main Street, USA.
Main Street, USA opened with the Magic Kingdom in 1971 with
the Main Street Vehicles and the Walt Disney World Railroad.
Main Street, USA, just like Disneyland's, is inspired by
Walt Disney's childhood town of Marceline, Missouri. Being
set around the turn of the 20th century, Main Street has a
small town feel to it which allows the guests to feel like
they are truly walking through a community they belong to.
You may even get a chance to encounter some of the residents
that live here on Main Street. Some of them include Fire
Chief Smokey Miller, Victoria Trumpetto, Beatrice Starr,
Mayor Weaver, and many more!
There are several secrets found in this land, so take your
time, shop, and explore!
Fun Fact: Look at the windows on the second
and third floors throughout Main Street, USA. Here you will
find different company names with the name of their owner.
The majority of these owners are Imagineers that helped make
Walt Disney World become a reality!
