NERD ALERT! I'm warning you right off the bat, my
inner nerd is coming out in today's post. I LOVE numbers (not the
television show, but numbers as in: 1, 2, 3...)! So whenever I walk
around the Disney parks and see a number it sticks with me for
awhile. Not sure why exactly. While walking through the line of The
Seas with Nemo and Friends I stopped and took a look at the
following poster:

The first thing I noticed was the hilarious word
play of "To Air is Human!" but then for some reason I noticed the
street address for the Tanks A Lot Dive Shop: 1401 Coral Coast Hwy.
About a week later I was about to ride Rock'n'Roller Coaster
starring Aerosmith when I took a look to my right after exiting the
preshow room to see the following:

It's hard to see in the picture, but to the left of
the light is a street address for the G-Force Records delivery drop
off area. What's the address? 1401 Flower St. I all of a sudden
recalled the 1401 found in line for The Seas with Nemo and Friends
and began to realize that there must be some connection between the
two due to the fact that Disney always has a reason behind
everything they do.
A few weeks later the new Star Tours opened and
while riding the attraction I heard the flight number: 1401. Then
while walking through the line I noticed the same number was painted
on the side of our Starspeeder 1000:

So what does it all mean? Naturally, by the time I
learned about our flight number I began to ask around and realized
that not only does the number 1401 mean something, but the address
1401 Flower St. means something extremely important to Imagineers.
1401 Flower Street, Glendale, CA is actually the
home to Walt Disney Imagineering! So as a nice little nod to their
home, Imagineers have hidden this number throughout Walt Disney
World! Where else can you find this number? I'm not sure yet, but
trust me, I'm going to find out!
