Location: Fantasyland, Disneyland
A couple of years ago, Fantasyland in Disneyland
received a minor, but extremely detailed, expansion to the left of
Sleeping Beauty Castle. Included in this area is a store, a princess
meet and greet area, and the most simple, yet awesome item in the
area is a music box.
While most people imagine a music box to fit in the
palm of one's hand, this one stands about five feet tall and is
themed around one of the most overlooked Disney films from the 90s,
The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The music box, known as Clopin's Music
Box, invites guests to step up and spin the wheel to see what magic
lies inside.

After turning the wheel the song Topsy Turvy from
the film begins to play as Victor, Hugo, and Laverne begin to body
surf the crowd. While this is very amusing, the true star of the
music box is the detail of the crowd. At first glance it appears to
just be members of the crowd that Quasimodo once watched from the
bell tower, but upon further inspection, one may realize that other
Disney characters have hidden in the scene as well!
Here you can find Geppetto and the Coachman from
Pinocchio,,Wendy, Mr. Smee, and Peter Pan from Peter Pan, Gaston,
the book store owner, Belle, and the Beast in human form from Beauty
and the Beast, Tony from Lady and the Tramp, Flynn Rider from
Tangled, and Snow White and a few dwarfs! These aren't the only
characters hiding, however! Take a look at the pictures below to see
how many characters you can find!
