"What time is it? Summertime. It's our vacation.
What time is it? Party time. School's out. Scream and shout!"
It's Summer Week here on our Days of the Week and
what better way to discuss summer than talking about everyone's
favorite Wildcats, and no, I don't mean High School Musical. Deep on
the Nile River, and Congo, and a few others, guests travel to
mysterious places where they get to see lions, and tigers, and bare-ly
escape Headhunters and a whole lot more!
That's right! Today we are finally making the long
awaited trek over to The World Famous Jungle Cruise! I've talked in
the past about my love of Toy Story Midway Mania and Expedition
Everest's queue lines, and I truly feel like the Jungle Cruise's
line is their counterpart over in the Magic Kingdom. Every time you
want to see some sandstone you don't want to take for granite you
are sure to find a new detail that you had no idea existed. Today we
are going to start off with a fun finds that most guests see just
before they board their boats.

First off, let's take a look at the menu (just for a
quick laugh). Here you see the menu for the crew for the week. While
Friday's meal is actually chicken, Monday through Thursday all
consist of different delicacies that either taste a bit like
chicken, have a chicken flavor, are poultry like, or are chicken-esque.
The sign we are going to be focusing on this week is to the left of
this one and consists of one of my favorite play on words in the
line.
Just like most company's, the Jungle Cruise
expeditions rewards their most effective employees by naming the
Employee of the Month. Whether your skipper is funny, kind, or just
knows how to navigate through the treacherous waters, no employee
has had a more powerful impact on the people in the jungle than
anyone else:

Yes, congratulations to Mr. E. L. O'Fevre (Yellow
Fever) on being the most effective employee of the month. You got
what you needed to get done done!
