Walt Disney loved scale
models. In fact, if you stop by One Man's
Dream over in Disney's Hollywood Studios you
can find a scale model of Granny's house
from the film, So Dear to My Heart. This
scale model was actually created by Walt
himself!
Going with this whole idea of scale models,
Imagineers have perfected making different things throughout the
parks seem larger or smaller than they actually are. Not all of them
are to scale (in those cases it's called forced perspective which
makes you think things are bigger than smaller than they actually
are). However, if we head on over to Pop Century we have something

sticker in front of you which would show a throttle to make you feel
like you were really driving around in your very own car! However,
what most kids never really paid attention to was the recommended
weight above the throttle. For most Big Wheels the weight limit is
70 lbs.
However, here at Pop Century we have a three story
Big Wheel which is built to about 1-12.5 scale which puts the
recommended weight of this Big Wheel at:

Thank you to everyone for joining us for this first
