Sunday Brunch: Sunshine
Tree Terrace in poem form!

I was sailing around with pirates and skippers one
day
When all of a sudden I heard my belly say,
"Hey up there, you handsome fellow.
Throw down some food, be it bananas or Jello!"
I searched high and low for something that'd be
yummy.
It got to the point where I considered eating a poor ol' bunny.
Then on a sign I saw a bird, orange as can be
And suddenly I realized I could stop at the Sunshine Tree

Citrus Swirls, floats, and key lime pie
I couldn't believe it! I thought I would die!
So many tasty treats to make me smile
What would I get? What'd be worthwhile?
I wanted something that I could remember forever
Something that could hold up against the Florida weather.
Then I saw it up on the table
Could it be? I thought it was a fable!
An orange bird cup that makes a great souvenir
A memento of the day that I could always hold dear
I threw down seven dollars in exchange for the cup
People walking by saw that I knew what's up
For an orange bird cup is the greatest purchase of
all
It makes me smile be it winter, spring, or fall
