Favorite Things
One of Kelvin's favorite things when it comes to the
foodie world is the All-American milkshake. At Walt Disney World,
the milkshake tends to be among the less popular Disney snack items.
I've had very few milkshakes while dining around the world (one of
the best is at
50's Prime Time Cafe), though the strongest memory I have was
the milkshake at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.

One of my friends' traditions was an end of the
summer feast at the Whispering Canyon. Last year, in the days
leading up to the feast, all my friends Caitlin and Alex could talk
about were the milkshakes. Once ordered, they will refill them over
and over as many times as you want, and the best part is you could
change flavors with each refill. When the day arrived at last and we
were seated for our feast, Caitlin and Alex were distressed. The
milkshakes were not on the menu for some reason. I can't remember
why, but luckily, they were still able to order it! Alex's favorite
is the caramel and orange milkshake because the flavor combination
is 'beyond the standard.' Caitlin just feels that all milkshakes are
'AMAZING.' Besides being bottomless, the coolest part about these
milkshakes is that they come in Mason jars, very thematic to the
wilderness atmosphere of the restaurant and resort.

Caitlin finally receives the milkshake of her dreams
Even though I don't really like milkshakes, I can
see why Kelvin and other friends enjoy them so much. The simplicity
of its recipe and comfort of its flavors make them an understandable
favorite among foodies. Seeing my friends graciously allow our
server to continually refill their mason jars helps reinforce that
even the littlest things are a part of the happiest place on earth.
