Thursday Treasures

Your Disney vacation is over and
all you have left are the memories! A portion of
those memories may be preserved in the photos
that you take. Then what do you do with the
photos? Do they end up tossed in a box? Have you
ever tried scrapbooking those many photos? I am
an avid scrapbooker and my favorite thing to
scrapbook is my Disney trips.
Scrapbooking is a great way to creatively
put your pictures into an album that you will
have forever. What a wonderful way to relive a
great vacation!

You can purchase Disney scrapbooks and
accessories at the
Walt Disney Parks as well as many of your
local craft stores. After you have purchased
the scrapbook, you'll want to select page
decorations. These supplies include bright
colored papers, pre-decorated pages, and
stickers. There are so many products out there!
Check out the craft stores...you'll be amazed at
the huge selection of Disney scrapbooking
products!

You'll also need scissors, a
paper cutter, and adhesive. Check the
scrapbooking department in your craft store for
those supplies as well.

Now you're ready
to get started!
Sit down with
your materials
and let the
creative juices
flow! Put the
pictures on the
page, enhance
the page with
the special
supplies you
purchased, and
tell the story.
It is important
to write all of
the who, what,
when, and where
information that
helps to tell
the story of
your trip. It is
a time consuming
craft, but it is
so worth it!
Scrapbooking
with a friend or
family member
makes it even
more fun! My mom
and I have
scrapbooked all
of our Disney
vacations. I
love to look at
those books! It
brings back such
magical
memories!!
