Festival of the Lion King Returns
June 1,
2014
Almost five
months after The Festival of the
Lion King departed from its home
at Camp Minnie-Mickey to make
way for Avatarland, the wildly
popular show has returned in a
brand new theater in Africa! The
theater, named the Harambe
Theater after the fictitious
town guests visit while in
Disney's Animal Kingdom, is
nearly identical on the inside
as the old theater. The
exterior, however, is full of
detail which makes it feel like
this new addition to Africa has
always been there!

How's the actual
show? Overall, there isn't a
whole lot different. We still
have our favorite acts like the
tumble monkeys and the fire
dancer, but all the costumes
look new and the four animals
look amazing!
