Today I had the
chance to check out the new Food
Truck stop in Downtown Disney's
Westside before it opened to the
general public at 5 later today.
The new area is located between
Starbucks and Bongo's and offers
some great views of the water
and Saratoga Springs across the
way.

If you have
visited Downtown Disney at all
in the past year you may have
stopped by one of the trucks
before they made their way to
their now permanent home. Each
truck features its own theme and
food options.

Fantasy Fare is
themed around the Magic
Kingdom/Disneyland and offers
signature dining from both
parks. Here you can eat Croque
Monsieur (from Magic Kingdom and
Disneyland Paris), Sticky
Chicken and Waffles (from Magic
Kingdom's Sleepy Hollow), and a
Hand-Dipped Corn Dog (from
Disneyland's Main Street, USA).
The World
Showcase of Flavors offers
guests options from Epcot's Food
and Wine. Here you can eat
Pierogies with Kielbasa (from
the Poland booth), Grilled
Chicken Breast Gyro (from the
Greece booth), and Grass Fed
Beef Sliders (from the Florida
booth).

Superstar
Catering focuses on food that
has starring roles in Disney's
Hollywood Studios. Here you can
try the Margherita Flatbread,
Turkey Meatball Sub, and
Slow-cooked Pot Roast Sandwich.

Finally, the
Namaste Café features food that
is present in Disney's Animal
Kingdom. Here guests can try
Butter Chicken, Tandoori Shrimp,
Lamb Kefta, and Naan and Samosa
Dipping Safari.

Each of the
trucks features their very own
design to showcase the park that
they represent. In addition to
the four trucks, there is a
small seating area off to the
side which also features a
little area where guests
musicians will perform for
guests.

Overall, the
area is nicely nestled into the
hustle and bustle of Downtown
Disney's Westside. Since the
Westside doesn't have a great
presence for quick service
options, I'm sure the Food
Trucks will be a welcome home to
guests of all ages in the coming
years!
