Two days ago the
area formerly known as Team
Mickey opened up as the
Marketplace Co-Op. The new store
is divided into individual
little stores that all have
their own little theme. I had a
chance to stop by today and take
some pictures of the new area.
Below are pictures and
descriptions of what you can
find in each section:

In recent years
we have seen D-Tech spots
throughout the parks, but inside
the Marketplace Co-Op we can
find the next step in D-Tech
with D-Tech on Demand. Here
guests are able to create their
own phone case based off of
their favorite characters,
movies, etc. It is a bit pricey
if you are creating your own,
but guests do have the option to
purchase a premade design as
well.

Beautifully
Disney is a make up line that
has been growing over the past
few years and now it has an
entire section of Marketplace
Co-Op dedicated solely to it!

Zoey and Pickles
features clothes for younger
girls. Some of the designs in
here are great, especially the
ones featuring Buttercup from
Toy Story 3 and Paschal from
Tangled!

The back section
of the store features designer
bags and various forms of
jewelry.

Centerpiece is
easily the greatest addition to
Downtown Disney! Here guests can
find several vintage Disney
items including coasters, cups,
stands, plates, pillows, signs,
and much much more! It's a
Disney nerds paradise. My bank
account will most likely be
taking a hit in future visits
here.

The final
section of the store is The
Trophy Room, which keeps the
wonder and splendor of Team
Mickey alive. While there aren't
any amazing new additions to
this portion of the store, it is
nice to still have a selection
of sports items!

Overall, I fell
like the Marketplace Co-Op has
great potential for Downtown
Disney. The way the six sections
are divided are great and the
individual theme in each room is
very well done. What do you
think? Are you excited for this
new addition?
