Last week I was
able to take my nephew Jeremy to
Disneyland to visit a planet in
another galaxy. We went to Star
Wars Galaxy's Edge. The new and
immersive area of disneyland
park, opening today, makes you
feel like you've actually gone
to another planet. You can no
longer hear the sounds of the
park when you walk past the
railroad. Looking around as we
approached Kylo Ren's star
fighter I was in awe of
everything. Now something you
should know about me is I am not
a Star Wars fan in the least. I
don't know much of anything
about the franchise, but you
don't need to know to enjoy the
land.

It was time for
us to go for a ride. Walking up
to the Millennium Falcon:
Smuggler's Run, you can see the
one and only Millennium Falcon
and feel as though it had just
landed there. You can still hear
the engine cooling down. The
wait time when I went on was
posted at 40 minutes and seemed
as though the queue was open to
full capacity. It took only 40
as posted. The attraction does
have a single rider line and
will make the ride more
enjoyable so please don't be
afraid to get in that line. I
have a friend who told me that
the lines are very accessible
and easy to get through with
while taking that approach.

I cannot wait to
explore more of this new planet.

From my nephew
Jeremy Bean:
When I went to
Disneyland's Star Wars Galaxy's
Edge I had a great experience.
There was lots of things to do
and things to interact with. The
ride was very interactive and a
lot of fun. There were tons of
things to shop for both new
items and old. The land was
designed very well and had a
feeling that you were in Star
Wars. I had a great time there
and I think everybody should
visit there. My favorite part of
this trip was the ride because
of its interactive parts with
other guests. Also because it's
a lot of fun!
