Chip 'n' Dale

Who's Who Chip 'n' Dale

Double feature week concludes with my two favorite little troublemakers. Chip 'n' Dale first appeared in the 1943 animated short 'Private Pluto,' and have been in 23 animated shorts over the years. In addition to short films they can be found in 'Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse,' and 'Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas.' In television shows they can be found in 'Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers,' 'House of Mouse,' 'The Wonderful World of Disney,' 'Mickey Mouse Works,' 'Have a Laugh!', 'Mickey Mouse Club,' 'A Poem Is,' 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,' and a cameos in 'Darkwing Duck,' and 'Goof Troop.' They also appeared in the video games Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers, Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers 2, the Kingdom Hearts series, Mickey's Racing Adventure, Kinect Disneyland Adventures, Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour, and Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers: The Adventure in Nimnul's Castle. They are also found on merchandise such as toys, games, comic books, vinylmations, Disney artwork, pins, clothing, and much more.

They have lived in a few different places over the years such as Mickey's Toontown, Disney Town, Disney Castle, New York City, and Duckburg to name a few. Chip 'n' Dale have many friends they can count on such as Goofy, Gadget, Minnie Mouse, Monterey Jack, Zipper, Humphrey the Bear, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck. Their enemies include Fat Cat, Professor Norton Nimnul, Pluto, and Pete. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Chip and Dale have a complex relationship, since they are allies at times and other times they are enemies.

Chip 'n' Dale

Chip 'n' Dale have had a number of outfits over the years, but the two that stand out most are their lack of clothes and their 'Chip 'n' Dale: Rescue Rangers' outfits in which Chip wears a brown bomber jacket and a brown and black fedora hat, and Dale wears a red and yellow Hawaiian shirt. Chip is very intelligent, and always has a plan, while Dale is very clumsy, and usually stumbles his way through things.

*FUN FACT: You can easily tell the two apart because Chip has a small brown nose, has a little darker fur, and has two teeth right next to each other. Dale has a large red nose, has lighter colored fur, messy hair, and has two teeth that are spaced out.

They have been voiced by a few different people over the years. Chip has been voiced by Tress MacNeille and James MacDonald while Dale has been voiced by Corey Burton, Dessie Flynn, and Tress MacNeille.

 Chip 'n' Dale

Chip 'n' Dale can be found in Disney parks around the world as meet and greet characters. They can also be found in SpectroMagic, Fantasmic!, Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade, Chip 'n' Dale's Treehouse, Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Mickey's Soundsational Parade, Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade, Chip 'n' Dale's Cool Service, One Man's Dream 2: The Magic Lives On, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, Mickey and Duffy's Spring Voyage, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and Disney's Summer Oasis Splash. They can also be found in Disney on Ice shows, and also on the Disney Cruise Line ships.
