Dusty Crophopper

Dusty Crophopper

Dusty Crophopper is the main character in the 2013 Disney film 'Planes.' He can also be seen in the 2014 sequel, 'Planes: Fire and Rescue.' He can also be seen in the video game, Planes: The Video Game, and the upcoming Planes: Fire & Rescue: The Video Game. In other merchandise he can be found in toys, books, games, food (fruit snacks), pins, Disney art, and clothing.

He lives in Propwash Junction and in the first film he was a crop duster while in the second film he was a Fire and Rescue Pilot. He has many friends such as El Chupacabra, Chug, Sparky, Skipper Riley, Ishani, Dottie, Echo, Lil Dipper, Bravo, Blade Ranger, Leadbottom, Rochelle, Windlifter, Bulldog, and the rest of the good Disney characters. His enemies include Zed, Ripslinger, Ned, and the rest of the evil Disney villains.

Dusty Crophopper

Dusty has a few different looks to him throughout the films. His most common being a mainly white colored plane with black stripes, with orange pant on his wings, hood, tail, and roof. He also has blue colored eyes. He is very good hearted, friendly, and not selfish at all. He would lose a race to help out someone in need.

He is voiced by Dane Cook. Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men) was originally cast to voice Dusty Crophopper, but Pixar decided to go in a different direction in the end.

Planes Fire and Rescue

Dusty Crophopper can't be found in Disney theme parks around the world. I will be interested to see if they introduce 'Planes' characters into the parks after awhile. I thought 'Planes' was a decent movie, but I really enjoyed 'Planes: Fire & Rescue.' It would be nice to see Disney use this universe more often.
