Hawkeye

In honor of the
new 'Avengers' trailer that was released
yesterday, today's Who's Who will be about a
member of the Avengers. Clint Barton, aka
Hawkeye, is a member of the superhero group
Avengers. Hawkeye can be found in many things including
television shows such as Iron Man, The Avengers:
United They Stand, The Marvel Super Heroes, The
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, The Super
Hero Squad Show, and a cameo in the Fantastic
Four. He can be seen in video games like
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Spider-Man: The
Video Game, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Captain
America, and the
Avengers, and Venom/Spider-Man: Separation
Anxiety. In films he can be seen in Thor, Next
Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow, and the upcoming
2012 film, The Avengers.
Finally, he can be
found in various comics books,
toys and merchandise.
He was born in
Waverly, Iowa but was put in a orphanage when he
was young after his parents died. His mother,
father, brother, and wife are all deceased, so
really he only has his allies, the avengers, and
a few other fellow heroes as his friends and
people he can rely on. He has quite a few
enemies over the years with the biggest being
Crossfire, Bullseye, and
his former mentor Trick Shot. His
brother eventually took
over as Trick Shot and it was soon a
sibling rivalry.

Hawkeye wears a
purple and blue costume. He has a purple and
blue mask which has an H on it, purple wrist
guards, and a purple arrow sack with a purple
bow. In the upcoming movie, The Avengers,
Hawkeye has more of a red and black costume with
no mask. I like his new look much better then
the comic book version. It feels more current
and doesn't stand out so much.
Hawkeye was
created by Stan Lee and Don Heck. In the later
versions of his stories he had a different
creative team for each of his volumes in the
comic books. Jeremy Renner will be playing
Hawkeye in the 2012 film.

In my opinion
Disney is sitting on a real gold mine when it
comes to the Marvel Universe. Hopefully they
will put Hawkeye and the rest of the characters
somewhere in the parks soon. It really is
amazing to see the comic book world and how many
different types of fans there are. Comic Books
have hundreds of new readers daily, and it
continues to grow and be extremely popular. So
Disney if you read this, bring Marvel
characters, attractions and shows in the theme
parks!
