Jose Carioca

Jose Carioca is one of the fun
loving parrots from Walt Disney's 'The Three
Caballeros.' He can also be found in other films
such as 'Saludos Amigos,' 'Mickey's House of
Villains,' 'Melody Time,' 'Mickey's Magical
Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse,' and
he even has a cameo in 'Who Framed Roger
Rabbit?' He has also appeared in television
shows such as 'Mickey Mouse Works,' 'House of
Mouse,' and 'Walt Disney Anthology Series,' He
can finally be seen in various merchandise such
as books, toys, pins, a vinylmation, and
clothing.
He makes his home in Brazil
during most of his appearances and Disney Town
in a few others. His close friends are Donald
Duck, Panchito Pistoles, Goofy, Mickey Mouse,
Ludwig Von Drake, and Minnie Mouse. While his
enemies include all Disney villains, he
especially has a strong dislike for The Aracuan
Bird.

Jose is a green parrot with a
yellow beak, a blue and red tail, and yellow
feet. He wears a yellow dress jacket, a white
button up undershirt, a black bow tie, a yellow
and black hat, and he wears yellow gloves. He is
quite the prankster and loves life. He is the
Johnny Depp of parrots, all the ladies love him,
and he is very smooth and confident.
He has been voiced by two
people over the years: Rob Paulsen and Jose
Oliveira. Walt Disney came up with this
character on a Brazilian trip when he saw a
tropical parrot on a sight seeing tour. If you
haven't seen 'Saludos Amigos,' 'The Three
Caballeros,' or 'Melody Time,' I highly
recommend to everyone that they should go check
them out.

Jose can be found on a very
rare basis as a meet and greet character, except
for at Tokyo Disneyland where he can be found on
a regular basis. He can also be found at the
Grand Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
in Epcot, and at Disney's All-Star Music Resort
in WDW. He also makes an appearance in Hong Kong
Disneyland's It's a Small World. Finally he can
be found in Disneyland during Mickey's
Soundsational Parade.
