The Phantom Blot

The Phantom Blot is one of the
first villains that tormented Mickey Mouse. The
two have had numerous battles over the years. He
has been seen in many different things including
TV shows such as 'Mickey Mouse Works,' 'House of
Mouse,' and 'DuckTales.' Also after a long
absence he is back and plays a huge part in the
video game, Epic Mickey. The Phantom Blot can be
mainly found in comic books and old cartoon
shorts. More recently he can be found in a 'DuckTales'
and 'Darkwing Duck' intertwined comic book
called 'Dangerous Currency.' He can be found in
other rare merchandise like toys, clothes,
buttons/pins, and Disney art.
It is unclear where the
Phantom Blot has lived but in 'Epic Mickey' he
makes his residency in Wasteland and wants to be
ruler of it. The only known relative of the
Phantom Blot is his daughter Phantom Brat.
Phantom Blot has many allies on his side
including Madam Mim, Beagle Boys, The Mad
Doctor, Magica De Spell, and the rest of the
evil Disney villains. His enemies include Mickey
Mouse and the rest of the fab five, Darkwing
Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit,
and the rest of the forces of good.

Phantom Blot is a very dark
and mysterious figure, he wears a dark cloak and
the only thing you can see on him are his smile
and his eyes which vary from white, yellow, and
red depending on which comic book, TV show, or
video game it is. His black hood hides his
secret identity, which was revealed at one
point: he resembles a evil faced goofy with a
moustache. Phantom Blot has been one of Mickey's
most challenging rivals of all time.
He has been voiced by Frank
Welker, and also John O'Hurley. He was animated
by the group of Merrill De Maris, Ted Thwaites,
Bill Wright, and Floyd Gottfredson.

I have researched to see if
Phantom Blot has ever been in the theme parks
but found nothing. I would love to see him in
the parks, even if it is just during Halloween
time since I am a huge fan of all the Disney
villains. He is a fantastic yet forgotten
character.
