Shere Khan

Shere Khan

Shere Khan is the powerful villain in the 1967 Walt Disney animated classic, 'The Jungle Book.' He can also be found in the films 'The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story,' 'The Jungle Book 2,' and 'Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book.' In television shows he can be found in 'House of Mouse,' 'Jungle Cubs,' and 'TaleSpin.' As for video games, he can be found in Disney Universe, TaleSpin, Quackshot, and The Jungle Book. Finally he can be found in other merchandise such as pins, books, toys, vinylmations, and Disney art.

Over the years he has lived in both Cape Suzette and in the Jungle. He has many people on his side such as Kaa, Tabaqui, Panther pilots, and the rest of the evil Disney villains. His enemies include Bagheera, King Louie, Baloo, Mowgli, Colonel Hathi, Ranjan, Shanti, and the rest of the good Disney characters.

Shere Khan

Shere Khan is a very muscular Bengal Tiger. He has bright orange fur with black strips, some white fur, yellow eyes, and very large paws with massive claws. In the television show 'TaleSpin,' he is mainly seen in very expensive business suits. He is very greedy, cruel, and powerful.

He was animated by the extremely talented animator, Milt Kahl. He has also been voiced by quite a few people over the years such as Corey Burton, George Sanders, Jason Marsden, Sherman Howard, Clarence Nash, and Tony Jay.

Shere Kahn

Shere Khan can be seen in Disney parks around the world on any Jungle Book related floats in parades such as the Flights of Fantasy Parade, and in Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade. He could also be found in Journey Into the Jungle Book, in Disney's Animal Kingdom until it closed in 1999. He can finally be seen in various theme park merchandise.
