Peter Pan

Peter Pan is the lead
character from Walt Disney’s 1953 animated
classic “Peter Pan.” He has been a staple in the
Walt Disney Company for years. He can be seen in
films such as “Mickey’s Magical Christmas:
Snowed in at the House of Mouse,” “Return to
Never Land,” and he even had a cameo in “The
Lion King 1 ½.” As for TV shows he was mainly
seen in “House of Mouse,” but recently has been
seen on the hit Disney Junior show “Jake and the
Never Land Pirates.” Peter can be found in a
great list of Disney video games such as the
Kingdom Hearts series, Kinect Disneyland
Adventures, Disney’s Villains Revenge, Disney
Universe, Return to Never Land, and Peter Pan:
Adventures in Never Land. He is such a well
known character that he can be found in other
merchandise such as books, food items, games,
artwork, toys, clothing, pins, and Vinylmations
to name a few.
He is the head of the Lost
Boys, and he hails from Never Land where there
is no growing up allowed. Peter has many friends
that help him with his adventures such as Wendy,
John, and Michael Darling, Tinker Bell, The Lost
Boys, Tiger Lily, Wendy’s daughter Jane, and all
the Disney characters that want good. His
enemies include Captain Hook, the Pirate crew,
Mr. Smee, and the rest of the Disney villains.

purchase! :)
Peter is a very brave soul. He
helps people in need and loves having many
different adventures. His outfit is a sleek and
simple outfit but it really fits him well. He
wears a green shirt, with green tights, brown
shoes, a green hat with a red feather in it. His
weapon of choice is a small dagger and he
doesn’t believe in guns. The coolest attribute
about Peter is that he can fly with just a
little pixie dust; let’s be honest who wouldn’t
want to be able to fly.
He was drawn by the fantastic
artist Milt Kahl who has animated a number of
different top characters. Milt was part of
Disney’s Nine Old Men. Peter Pan has been voiced
by a few different people over the years such as
Bobby Driscoll, Chris Steele, Adam Wylie, and
Blayne Weaver.

*FUN FACT* “The Second Star to
the Right” was written for the film “Alice in
Wonderland” but Disney decided it would be
better suited for “Peter Pan”.
Peter Pan can be found
throughout Disney parks and Disney Cruise Ships
around the world as a meet and greet character.
You can also find him in Fantasmic!, Peter Pan’s
Flight (which by the way will be getting a
interactive queue in the sometime near future),
Dream Along With Mickey castle show, Mickey’s
Soundsational Parade, Mickey’s Philharmagic,
It’s a Small World, Main Street Electrical
Parade, SpectroMagic Parade, Celebrate a Dreams
Come True Parade, Disney’s Once Upon a Dream
Parade, and you can also find him during the
Halloween and Christmas parties at the Magic
Kingdom. He can also be seen during Disney on
Ice shows.

The Tramp

The Tramp is from the wonderful 1955 Walt Disney
film, 'Lady and the Tramp.' He can also be seen in a few other
things, including the movies 'Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamp's
Adventure' and 'Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House
of Mouse.' He has also made cameos in 'One Hundred and One
Dalmatians,' and 'The Lion King '.' He could often be seen in the TV
show 'House of Mouse' and he had a cameo in the TV show 'Bonkers.' I
remember seeing him in a few Lady and the Tramp games as well such
as video games, learning games, and board games. Most notable, he
has a cameo in Kingdom Hearts. He can also be found in other various
merchandise such as toys, books, clothing, pins, and posters.
He lives with his owners Darling and Jim Dear in
their beautiful home in the town of New Haven, Connecticut. His wife
Lady, aka 'Pidge,' keeps him in line, and his children Annette,
Danielle, Scamp, and Collette keep him on his toes. His loyal
friends include Tony, Jock, Joe, Peg, Trusty, and Bull. He doesn't
have many enemies but the big ones are the rat, the pound, Si and
Am.

The Tramp is a mutt, he has a mixture of different
breeds. He is a medium sized dog and has gray fur with lighter gray
fur on his snout and stomach. At the end of the film he also gets a
red collar with a license. He is a very intelligent, is a ladies man
(in the dog sense), and he is very street smart.
He was voiced by Larry Roberts in the original
film but since then he has been voiced by Jeff Bennett. Lady and the
Tramp has many of the classic animators of the era, some of them
included: Ollie Johnston, Frank Thomas, Les Clark, Milt Kahl,
Wolfgang Reitherman, Eric Larson, and John Lounsbery who were all
part of Disney's Nine Old Men.

The Tramp can be found in a few different things
at Disney theme parks. You can find a large statue of him at Pop
Century Resort at Walt Disney World. In Tony's Town Square
Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom you can find Lady and the Tramp
decor throughout the restaurant. He can be seen in a water scene
during Fantasmic! at Walt Disney World, along with an appearance
during Epcot's Flower and Garden. Finally he can be seen at Disney
California Adventure during the amazing water show World of Color.
I want to
make my weekly bios interactive for all of you, so each week I
ask you all to email me at
disneyfan19@aim.com
to let me know which character you want to see and want to know
more about.
