The Story: Just after crossing the Little
Mississippi from Liberty Square, you begin to realize that you
have forgotten some supplies that will be useful out here in the
Frontier. You're in luck! "Texas" John Slaughter just happens to
have the place for you to stop at for all your trading needs
over at the Frontier Trading Post! So hitch up your horse out
front and stop on in for all your trading needs!
The Merchandise: Pins, Vinylmations, sheriff
badges, rocks, and old west themed merchandise
Fun Finds: While inside the shop you can find
wanted posters for Brer Fox and Peg Leg Pete. If you look at the
top right corner of Brer Fox's picture you can find Stitch!
Want to take a break from all the hustle and
bustle of the park? While in the shop head
towards the rock display and use your favorite
rock as tic tac toe pieces on the board sitting
right next to the cart!
The shop is owned by "Texas" John Slaughter.
From 1958-1961 Disney hosted a television show
on Wonderful World of Disney called Texas John
Slaughter which focused around cowboy and lawman
of the same name who was an actual person that
was well known in the late 1800s to early 1900s!
