Goofy's Barnstormer

Return to Toontown Attractions

The Story: Uh oh! Goofy has taken a crash course in flying! What's even worse is he has invited you over to his Wise Acres Farms to fly with him! Climb aboard and fly with Goofy over his fields and maybe even through his barn!

Height Restriction: 35 inches

Attraction Length: About 1 minutes

Fastpass? No

The History: Goofy's Barnstormer wasn't always present in the Magic Kingdom. In fact, it didn't exist until October 1, 1996, 8 years after this area of the park (which was originally Mickey's Birthdayland) opened and 25 years to the day after the Magic Kingdom opened! So what was here before Goofy made his mark?

Goofy's Wise Acre Farms used to be Grandma's Farm, home to the famous Minnie Moo, a cow that was born with a spot on its side that looked exactly like a hidden Mickey! When Imagineers decided to change the theme of the land to the Toontown we all know and love today, the barn became Goofy's and The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wise Acre Farms opened with the rest of Mickey's Toontown Fair on October 1, 1996.

The attraction is scheduled to close in February, 2011 to make way for the Fantasyland Expansion project. However, the attraction will be remain with a different theme.

Fun Facts: The chickens inside the barn are from the retired Epcot attraction, World of Motion.

The line is an attraction all by itself! While walking through you can find squash that is squashed, bell peppers that are shaped like bells, popcorn that is on a cornstalk, and much much more!

Location: Mickey's Toontown Fair

Touring Tips: Try to visit this attraction later in the day when younger guests have left the park. You should then be able to walk on!
