Fun Find Friday

December 4, 2015

Location: Animation Courtyard Disney's Hollywood Studios

In case you've been living a rock, I just want to update you on what's going on in the world. Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens opens up in two weeks! While most of the world is anticipating the film in their own ways, Disney's Hollywood Studios is getting the world excited by opening up the brand new Star Wars Launch Bay this past Tuesday.

While the area is extremely well themed, there is one section of the Launch Bay which kept getting passed by guests without even a second glance while I was there. It's unfortunate, since it's probably one of the most detailed areas in the entire attraction. I'm talking about this:

Star Wars Launch Bay

The words above the door are translated into Lost and Found and since this is Fun Find Friday, we know there are several different Fun Finds just waiting for us inside. Today we are going to be focusing on an item on the top shelf.

In the first six Star Wars films there have been four characters present throughout the entire saga: Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker), Obi-Wan Kenobi (in ghost form for two films, and C-3PO and R2D2. One thing die hard Star Wars fans have probably noticed in most of the films is the fact that C-3PO always goes through some slight changes from one film to another.

In the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII, C-3PO will have a red left arm. The question, though, is what happened to his old left arm? If you take a look inside the Lost and Found here at the Launch Bay, you may get the answer to the question:

C-3PO arm
