Hades is the villain from the 1997 Walt Disney film 'Hercules.' Hades can also be seen in Hercules: The Animated Series, Mickey's House of Villains, House of Mouse, Hercules the video game, and the Kingdom Hearts series. I have also found him in comic books, and other merchandise such as clothing, mugs, decals, Disney board games and coloring books.

Hades is a Greek God and he takes up residence in the Underworld, where he is the ruler. He is from Olympus but was banished by his brother Zeus to the Underworld. His allies include all of the Disney villains, and his followers Pain and Panic while his enemies include Zeus, Hercules, Megara, all the other gods and all of the good Disney characters that are fighting the forces of evil. He has a pet named Cerberus which is a massive three headed dog, which acts as a guard dog for the entrance of the Underworld.

Hades has grey skin, sharp teeth, thin pointy fingers, big yellow eyes, and blue flames for hair. He wears a grey and black long robe which has skulls on it. When he gets upset, he bursts into bright orange and red flames before becoming calm again and going back to his normal grey and blue self.

Hades has been voiced by two different people: James Woods provides the speaking voice while his singing scenes were done by Rob Paulsen. His film was directed by John Musker, and Ron Clements and he was animated by Nik Ranieri.

Hades can be found at Disney Parks around the world during Halloween time. He can also be found at Disney's Hollywood Studios at WDW as a meet and greet character at time and is also in Fantasmic. He can also be found in Tokyo Disneyland in the castle show Starlight Dreams, and you can find him in the queue area for Mickey's Philharmagic on a poster reading 'Hades Sings Torch Songs.'
