King Louie

King Louie is the crazy orangutan from the 1967 Walt Disney film 'The Jungle Book.' He can be found in other films such as 'Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse' and he has a cameo in 'The Jungle Book 2'. In television shows he can be found in 'House of Mouse,' 'Tale Spin,' and 'Jungle Cubs.' In video games he can be found in Disney Universe and The Jungle Book. He can also be found in various merchandise such as pins, toys, books, CDs, and clothing.

He has lived in two places over the years. In the Tale Spin universe he lived at Louie's Place while in The Jungle Book he lived in The Ancient Ruins. He has many friends he can count on such as Baloo, Kaa, Bagheera, Kit Cloudkicker, Mowgli, The Cunningham's, and the rest of his monkey friends. His enemies include Don Karnage and Shere Khan.

Louie wore clothes on Tale Spin such as a blue and green hawaiian shirt, pink lei, and a brownish/yellow hat. He has orange fur and is extremely overweight.

He has been voiced by quite a few people over the years with the most notable being Jim Cummings. Others include Jason Marsden, Louie Prima, and Cree Summer. He was designed by Milt Khal and Ken Anderson. He was animated by Frank Thomas, John Lounsbury, and Milt Khal.

King Louie can be found in Disney parks around the world as a meet and greet character, most often with his pal Baloo. He can also be found in Mickey's Soundsational Parade, Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade, Fantasmic, Disney Dreams, Celebrate a Dreams Come True Parade, Mickey Mouse Revue, and Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade.
