Ursula is the sea witch from Walt Disney's 1989 masterpiece 'The Little Mermaid.' She can also be seen in other films such as 'Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse,' and 'Mickey's House of Villains.' In television shows she can be found in 'House of Mouse,' 'The Little Mermaid,' and she has a cameo in 'Hercules.' She can also be found in a few video games such as the Kingdom Hearts series, Disney Princess, The Little Mermaid, Disney Universe, and The Little Mermaid 2 Pinball Frenzy. She can also be found in different types of merchandise such as toys, books, pins, and other clothing. She has really gained a great deal of popularity since 'The Little Mermaid' was released.

She lives under the sea in a lair. She wants to rule the sea and will stop at nothing for that to happen. She has many allies at her disposal such as Jetsam, Flotsam, Morgana, Glut, and the rest of the Disney villains. Her enemies include Ariel, Prince Eric, Flounder, King Triton, Sebastian, Mickey Mouse, and the rest of the heroes.

*FUN FACT* Ursula was going to be Ariel's aunt in the first draft of the film.

Ursula is half human, half octopus. She has two arms and six tentacles, she is overweight, has purple skin, white hair, red lips, and she has a very deep voice. She is a very rude and twisted villain.

She was animated by Nik Ranieri and Ruben A. Aquino. She was voiced by the wonderful actress Pat Caroll.

*FUN FACT* The animators originally wanted Bea Arthur to voice Ursula, but she turned them down because she was still filming The Golden Girls.

Ursula can be found in Disney theme parks around the world. She can be found in Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Starlight Dreams, Fantasmic!, SpectroMagic, Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams, The Golden Mickeys, The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure, Disney Dreams, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, and Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. Finally she can also be seen in The Little Mermaid Broadway show.
